The Celtic Colors International Festival

The event takes place in October and feature programs like square dances in warm community halls to imposing concerts at various larger venues of the island. More than 300 artists from Scotland, the United States, Ireland, Britain, Canada and other places takes part in the Celtic Colors International Festival. These performers perform at more than thirty venues all over Cape Breton Island. The visitors are also invited to take part in the event and hence the atmosphere is just brilliant.

The Celtic Colors Festival takes place in October and thus numerous tourist visit Cape Breton during this time. However, the best time to visit the island is July to October.
